While street marching one of the hardest things to do is to take a corner. Not only does the whole band/guard need to maintain a beautiful line, stay in step, and continue to look good, but they need to do so as one unit making the corner look easy and effortless.
Some common problems we experience while taking a corner:

- Swinging In attempting to stay in line with the person ahead of you.
- Losing your line and/or partner
- Taking too big or too small of steps.
